PRIVATE 1 ON 1 BREATH SESSION
In a breathwork session you get a proper chance to meet unresolved emotions, unprocessed experiences within your system. Blocked energies and emotions can easily result in tiredness, illness, and negative thought-patterns about yourself and the world around you. Breathwork also shows you your true Nature of timeless Awareness; when the me-story drops what you truly are remains.
In our lives from early age 'you' -under the illusion of being a seperate person- are formed, molded, teached how to be(-have) by your surroundings. The culture you grow up in, your family, parrents, and later your collegues, friends, etc. Mainly unspoken rules on how to behave, which emotions to show and which not, how to dress, what to think, which occupation to take, what opinions, ideas and likes & dislikes to have; all coloured and formed by our surroundings. Adyashanti calls it 'The blind leading the blind.' Another word for this is conditioning. Much of these 'does and don't' we learn, go against our own heart-felt intuitive Knowing, against our own will, our own flow; we learn to ajust to what is 'normal' in a given time-space and (sub)culture. This conditioning results in supressed emotions, built up tensions, frustration and a deep sense of being lost; haven forgotten who or what you truly are and why you are here.
All of this is part of the cosmic dance also called Lila; momentarily forgetting we are pure Awareness, Spirit, concious Presence in order to remember again with great joy, happiness and gratitude: Tat Tvam Asi - 'you are That!'
Concious circular breathing is a very powerful tool to remember your Essence again. It has the capacity to unlock energies within the body, release the me-story, becoming free from long hold tensions and trauma.
The technique is rather simple; you breath in and out through the mouth towards the lower belly, leaving out the pauses in between the breath. When we breath through the mouth we take in lots of oxygen and prana (subtle life energy). Prana has a very high frequency, when it meets lower frequencies in your body (stuck or dense areas) they will be transformed or released. Without going into endless stories of the past, you will meet these neglected parts in a somatic/ feltsense way with the help of the breath and notice in your every day life something has truly changed. You see things from a more open and clear perspective, you will not react from pain of the past but simply respond from Nowness-intelligence.
In a 1 to 1 breathsession I will use pressure points to allow the breath to meet tight or blocked parts of your body. 'Toning' can be part of a session to deepen the breath and to give expression through use of the voice. The session will take in between 1,5 and 2 hours, including an intake, about 45 minutes of circular breathing, integration time and a closing sharing (when desired).

In a breath circle we will come together as a group to explore the possibilities and profound effect of conscious circular breathing.
During the connected breath, we remove the pauses between the in- and exhalation and the ex- and inhalation. Our breathing becomes circular, without any intermissions. Both the in- and out breath are done through the mouth. The inhalation is full and deep, the exhalation is completely relaxed.
Circular breathing is a therapeutic technique, that allows you to enter into a process where that which is unconscious in you may come into the light - to be seen and reviewed. It enables you to be both the experiencer as the observer simultaneously. When we consciously breathe with this awareness, we make it possible to resolve, integrate and heal previously unresolved tensions or issues within ourselves. This frees up energy, bringing greater aliveness and joy, and feeling spacious in body and mind.
Connected or circular breathing is a soft and gentle technique, and can therefor be done for a longer period of time, ranging from half an hour to an hour.
During a breath circle we will start with some movement and/ or pranayama to warm up and relax the body and mind. After which we will join in a circle for a longer breathing session, which is done lying on the back. The breath coaches will walk around to guide you and use pressure points to allow for the breath to become fuller and deeper.
